Sunset is not inferior to sunrise
I was living in a big city. When I first came to Ottawa and out of the Customs gate at YOW, I was shocked. I found this city so boring and quiet. I could not forget my past experience with my high-school mates because they were all surprising. My dream is to go to New York to reunite with my old friends because they all study there. However, one of my friends died of drunk driving there. When I flew to New York to say goodbye to his body, I found this city was not as attractive as I thought. Because of my friend’s death, I trapped myself in my bedroom after returning to Ottawa. My neighbours and strangers took care of me and cheered me up. I felt unconditional love and warmth here. Also, the tranquillity in the city offers me an opportunity to plan for my future. Now, in Ottawa, I have become a cheerful, outgoing, and grateful person. Meanwhile, Ottawa has become the biggest supporter in my academy and career.
